Location: Nashville, Tennessee
The Steering Committee welcomes up to 48 highly qualified SEC enforcement defense counsel and a select few senior in-house counsel, personally selected from New York and Washington with a few heavy hitters from other states. Discussions will have a pure SEC focus and will include only those who are considered experts in the field.
Using candid, seminar-style discussions at this annual meeting, the group identifies trends and developments for meaningful dialogue on the most pressing and provocative issues of the day. Participants learn how others address these problems and identify practical solutions that can work for them.
Built on genuine interactions and spontaneous connections, the Forum is a unique opportunity for practical discussions among outside and in-house counsel considered the preeminent leaders in securities enforcement.
"The Forum on SEC Enforcement allows me to connect with some of the brightest minds across the country in a collaborative, discussion-based environment to share and consider thoughts and approaches to handling SEC investigations and enforcement actions. Unlike many conferences, the Forum is designed to foster social and intellectual engagement that results in better relationships and ultimately, better information and insights from which to serve clients."Jessica B. Magee Partner Holland & Knight LLP Dallas
"This conference is by far the most useful conference for SEC practitioners. It is a small group of lawyers who focus in this area – it’s perfect."John W. Berry Partner Munger Tolles & Olson LLP Los Angeles
"The Forum offers a great way to connect with and meet fantastic practitioners, and share experiences. The interactive approach is the best of any program I have attended."Susan D. Resley Partner Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP San Francisco
