The Steering Committee welcomes 48 of the most senior land use planners, lawyers, and other planning practitioners from Ontario to meet and discuss trends and developments in land use planning.
Using candid, seminar-style discussions at this annual meeting, participants from municipalities, private practice and the provincial government examine trends and developments on the most pressing issues facing the industry.

Jill Hogan is the Commissioner of Development Services for the Town of Milton - Over the course of 25 years, Jill has worked in the municipal land use planning field and has successfully led teams at the City of Brampton, City of Toronto and most recently at the Town of Milton. Jill has built a reputation based on her ability and drive to formulate innovative approaches to achieve high quality urban development through creative collaborations with Council, community stakeholders and developers. She holds the designation of Registered Professional Planner (RPP) through the Ontario Professional Planners Institute and is a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners.
Thom Hunt, MCIP, RPP, PLE - is a seasoned urban planner and professional land economist with over 40 years of professional planning experience in both the public and private sector. Thom has been a strong proponent of the public good and upholding the public interest throughout his career which includes working closely and collaboratively with both private and public sector clients. Thom’s work history includes leading a principal planning consultant office and providing professional planning services for Conservation Authorities, Cities and Regions. Thom is the former Chair of the Regional Planning Commissioners of Ontario and is currently the Director Planning for the Municipality of Clarington in Durham Region.

Caity is an MBA graduate from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto.
Prior to joining Cambridge Forums, she worked for the Government of Canada in various communications, website and research analyst positions. She has a passion for continuous learning, strategy development and relationship building.
In her spare time, Caity enjoys hiking, being in nature and spending time with her Australian Shepherd pup.
