The Steering Committee welcomes 48 specialists from around the world including private practitioners, investigators, forensic accountants, insolvency practitioners, funders and in-house counsel in the area of enforcement of judgements and awards.
Using candid, seminar-style discussions at this annual meeting, the group examines civil and criminal law differences through multi-jurisdictional sharing to identify trends and developments on the most pressing issues of the day.
This elite group, comprised of experts in the field, personally nominates all invitees and develops the Agenda, which forms the basis of our discussions.
Mr. Hennessee, FRAeS, is SVP Litigation, Investigations & Regulatory Affairs at Airbus, where he leads the Group’s global activities in these areas. Separately, he occasionally sits as arbitrator and serves on the board of directors of companies and non-profits. Until July, 2019, he also served as Chairman of the Governing Body of the ICC Court of International Arbitration and is now a member of the HKIAC Council. Mr. Hennessee has previously practiced law in Germany and in the United States on behalf of institutions including the German Government, companies, and private law firms. Educated at the University of Göttingen, Germany, the London School of Economics and SMU Law School (where he was Managing Editor of the Journal of Air Law and Commerce), he holds degrees in history, economics/econometrics, and law. He is a trustee of Houston Grand Opera, a cancer survivor-mentor, Fellow of the Robert Bosch Foundation and Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Hennessee is the winner of the ILO Award for Litigation “Individual of the Year” for 2009 and the 2018 winner of the Golden Quill award from the Business and Legal Forum for published article of the year. He lectures at Paris Assas, Sciences Po, Toulouse Capitole University, Versailles and Hong Kong University and has published over 100 articles on various legal subjects. He is a frequent speaker on law, technology, aviation, and public policy.

Stavros is a Barrister, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Fellow of the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution, and a member of many worldwide professional organizations such as the IBA, LCIA, ICCA and STEP. He has further been individually registered as a practicing barrister before the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) Court. He is regularly praised by his clients and associates as one of the top litigators in Cyprus and he is repeatedly listed as a recommended lawyer and leading individual in dispute resolution, corporate and commercial in Cyprus by renowned legal ranking organizations. He regularly participates in highly regarded international seminars and conferences as a keynote speaker or panellist and authors numerous articles in international publications. Furthermore, he promotes the ADR practices in Cyprus by participating in relevant podcasts and webinars.
Shona graduated from the University College Dublin with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Spanish. She has a background in medical, insurance and financial administration. In her spare time, Shona loves to travel and enjoys planning trips all around the world.
