Before starting Aequitas, Seow Chee has spent more than 20 years in the tax and financial services industry specializing in tax investigation, trust and family succession planning. Her expertise centres on advising families on their succession planning, philanthropic effort and sustainable investing. She is adept in formulating their family offices and governance processes. In the most recent years, Seow Chee has been sharpening her focus on family office space, supporting Singapore and international clients. Through her various roles in the Singapore’s trust professional body, Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners (STEP), Seow Chee is well apprised of the rapid evolving tax and family office landscape both in Singapore and the international space. Through her leadership, she was instrumental in raising the professional standards of trust professions in the industry. She was Chairperson between 2012 to 2015 and from 2015 to 2017, she held STEP Council Representative position for Singapore and Malaysia. She is constantly at the forefront to learn and share with industry peers. She is also well connected with the other industry partners whom she works with to deliver holistic solutions to clients’ needs. With her prudent and astute technical competence, clients see her as the go-to person whom they can trust for advice and to deliver effective solutions that meet their sophisticated planning needs.
Prior to founding her firm, Seow Chee was the Managing Director and Head of Wealth Advisory South East Asia at JP Morgan Private Bank, Singapore. She had previously held senior positions in HSBC Trustee Singapore and Equity Trust Singapore (now known as TMF Group). She started her career with Inland Revenue of Singapore as a tax investigator. Apart from work, Seow Chee spends time with family on outdoor activities such as biking and camping. She believes in recycling for environmental sustainability.
Abhijit Joshi is the Founding and Managing Partner of Veritas Legal, with a noteworthy career spanning almost three decades. He specialises in Private Client, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Private Equity.
Over the years, Abhijit has advised various business houses and promoter families on wealth and estate planning, including the formation and operations of trusts and succession planning. He has represented high-net-worth individuals on wealth preservation and business succession structures including wills, trust deeds, family agreements, applications for regulatory approvals and testamentary proceedings.

Abhijit is a member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, India; the Bombay Incorporated Law Society; the Law Society of England and Wales; the Entrepreneurs Organization; and the Young Presidents’ Organization. He is also on the advisory board of the Oberoi International School.
Kristina is a graduate of the University of Toronto and is accredited as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), a globally recognized badge of excellence in the meeting and event industry. Prior to joining Cambridge Forums, Kristina worked for the Toronto International Film Festival where she successfully planned and hosted events for high-level donors, corporate clients and film stars. Outside the office, Kristina is passionate about learning new things, being outdoors, trying new cuisines and exploring the world one country at a time.
