The Steering Committee welcomes 48 estate planning and litigation professionals from leading law firms across Canada to meet and discuss the most pressing issues in planning and litigation facing their clients today.
A select few gerontologists join the discussion to provide first-hand information of capacity-related considerations for clients. Using candid, seminar-style discussions at this annual meeting, the group examines, amongst other things, capacity assessments of aging clients, vulnerability and new developments in case law.
Built on genuine interactions and spontaneous connections, the Forum is a unique opportunity for practical discussions among preeminent estate planning and litigation leaders from across Canada, and a select few gerontologists.
"The Forum is an excellent venue and the topics and discussion were extremely helpful regardless of jurisdiction. The honest communication and issue identification was validating and has engaged me to revisit my practice management and techniques with new perspective. Again, I appreciate the candour and thoughtful discussion."
Cathy Olsiak Partner Simpson Wigle Law LLP Hamilton, ON"The Forum is truly a Forum in which there is an exchange of information and ideas among a group of professionals who are recognized leaders and experts in the estate area of law."
